TRAUMATIC PERFORATION OF EAR DRUM WITH FOLDED MARGINS
Normally a traumatic peforation of ear drum has a tendency to heal on its own with minimal intervention. In rare cases where the margins of perforation have folded onto itself, it needs a small procedure where we reposition them so that adequate healing takes place. Here is a case of 69 year old lady who had a perforation of ear drum due to fall, which healed perfectly well due to timely intevention and repositioning of folded margins of perforation.
